Like most of Ireland, Galway City has major accessibility issues for people with disabilities. Public buildings, streets, open spaces, public transport and other public services can often be poorly designed in terms of their accessibility. This means that people with disabilities face exclusion and marginalisation on a daily basis.

Access For All continues to work to make Galway a more accessible city. We do this by working with Galway City Council and others who can help to make the kind of changes that are needed.
